Documentation
Documentation for every release
Every release carries its own documentation, built from the same commit as the code and kept online permanently. The version you shipped against stays exactly as it was, however far ahead the current release has moved.

How versioning works
Documentation lives in each component’s repository and is built from the tag it describes, so it cannot drift from the code. Once a version is published it is never rebuilt — the pages you read while integrating a release stay exactly as they were, and a link to them keeps working.
Because the sources ship with each release, you can also rebuild the documentation yourself, offline, from the same commit.
